Speed Queen 802317P Washer Door Lock Switch Assembly

Description

The Speed Queen 802317P Washer Door Lock Switch Assembly is used to secure the washer door and confirm that it is properly closed before and during operation. This assembly combines the door-locking mechanism with an electrical switch that communicates the door status to the washer’s control system. When the door is closed and locked, the switch signals that the washer can safely begin the selected cycle. Proper operation is important for safe and reliable washing performance. A worn or faulty assembly may prevent the washer from starting, cause door-lock errors, or interrupt the cycle. Replacing the assembly can restore proper door locking and electrical signaling.
